Implant questions.
Placement is done under local anesthetic (with sedation options) and most people compare it to a simple extraction. Any soreness afterward is usually managed with over-the-counter pain relief.
From placement to final crown is typically three to six months — most of which is healing time while the implant fuses to the bone. You're never left without a tooth in a visible area.
Most healthy adults are. The main factor is having enough jawbone — and if it's thinned, a bone graft can rebuild it. We confirm everything from a 3D scan at your consult.
